Zabanic is a specialized biannual journal in the field of linguistics, with a focus on lexicography, terminology, and translation. The journal commenced publication in 2026 (1405 Iranian calendar) under license number 100967, and it publishes articles in both Persian and English through a double-blind peer-review process. The criteria for accepting and selecting articles are originality, scholarly value, and research achievements.  All articles are available to users free of charge and without any fees. Zabanic follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines and complies with the executive bylaw of the law on preventing and combating fraud in scientific works.
